Partnering with McDonald Architects and Southeastern Family Homes, both of Charleston, Aqua Blue Pools constructed a new commercial swimming pool at Poplar Grove in Hollywood.
The relatively new Popular Grove Community Center located in The Landing neighborhood is the social heart of this Lowcountry community. It features a spacious community clubhouse with marsh observation deck, state-of-the-art fitness center and an Aqua Blue Pools saline swimming pool.
This in-ground concrete saline swimming pool features an ADA compliant chair lift, a shallow beach entry area which provides the perfect play area for young children, and a refreshing water lounge spot. The surrounding pool patio is concrete cool decking with a decorative saw-cut pattern, approximately 3,800 square feet. The pool’s interior is a glowing white plaster finish.
“Southeastern developed and built the amenity center, and we collaborated with them and McDonald Architects on the design-build aspect of the swimming pool and deck area,” said Clint Fore, Vice President of Aqua Blue Pools.
